Before you reinstall let's try one thing. I can send you my Master Mark
file. You can Save it to your main Guide directory, start Guide and go to
File > Load Mark and choose "$$ JAM STL-11000 f:7". It should be at the
top of the Mark list.
But,,, First I need to make a couple changes to 'my' Mark for it to work on
'your' machine.
1) Do you have Guide installed to your C Drive?
... If you are running Guide from the CD's I don't think this will work
2) If you run Guide 'without' your CD's what is the Directory "Path" to
Guide?
... Like "C:\Program Files\Guide8\"
Remember my Mark contains "my" settings, Location, OTA and other stuff which
may/may not be applicable for you. But it should get you going.
When you use this Mark you can modify the settings to 'your' preferences.
As you work through your settings you 'Must' Save yourself a Mark. Then if
you goof somewhere, like I do occasionally, you can load your saved Mark, or
mine again, and return to your settings before things got messed up.
Let me know if you want to try this...joe :)
BTW: you can edit the Mark file with Notepad to "see" what's in there. I
wouldn't attempt changing things manually.
PS: What's your "Name"?
"May You Go Among The Imperishable Stars"
