i changed the color of the globulars to green but nothing changed on the screen.

what labels? Even though i have the label box checked, M13 does not appear on the screen either. Did i inadvertently disable something somewhere else in the settings?

if i search on M31, i see MANY globular clusters...but their color is in purple. are these globulars catagorized the same as our milkyway globulars..i mean in terms of display? if i right click on one of those i get the menu where i can change the color, but the 'option' button is disabled.

i'm tempted to reinstall the whole package, but it would be good to know that there is a way to recover from whatever configuration setting i might have changed to cause this behavior.
