no, it doesn't work. for example. i search for M13...big globular cluster. when the screen redisplays, there is only the green cross hairs on the screen. no matter where i right-click, it only brings up info about a star. if i turn images on, i see M13 in all its glory but right-clicking still indicates i'm pointing at a star.

Display|Data shown for globulars is "Auto" with label checked.
