Hi Don....
What I do is to keep a backup of ALL files (excluding the folders) that are in the Guide
folder that you have once you get things the way you want them. That way all of your hot
keys, personal and equipment settings, comet and asteroid preferences, etc. are preserved.
If your computer ever crashes or if you need to reinstall Guide, simply do that from the
Project Pluto CD and then copy and paste your saved file OVER the default settings....when
the computer asks you if you want to over-write an existing file, simply click "YES TO
ALL" and let the old files write over your preferences.

By not copying the folders, but only the individual files, you save a lot of space on the
storage drive and it is very matter of fact to over-write the existing data and other
files.
