Hi,

I'm replacing my old notebook with an Asus Eee PC netbook, which while
convenient to carry, has no CD drive. I very much would like to
install Guide 8 onto the new computer.

I am able to see the contents of the CDs through my home network, but
when I click on setup.exe, then click on "english", I get an
installation error message. I tried copying all the CD contents over
to the netbook, including as far as I know any hidden files, but
trying to run setup off of the netbook's hard drive still produces the
error.

Is there a way to install Guide 8 onto a computer that doesn't have a
CD drive?
