Hi Mark,

Yes, I tried this about six weeks ago when I first got my MiniTower
and it worked just fine. Since I had no problems, I'm a little fuzzy
on the exact details, but basically I followed the instructions at
http://www.projectpluto.com/update8d.htm#ascom
and it just worked.

You mentioned getting and installing asc_link.dll as well as the
iOptron driver and serial-to-usb driver. Did you also download and
install the Ascom Platform download from
http://ascom-standards.org/Downloads/Index.htm
(The link on the projectpluto page is broken.)
