Hi Bill,
a funny situation: exactly the same configuration of Guide8 on two
different computers, the same telephone line (unfortunately an old
56K), with one computer I am able to download NOMAD (as well as others
stars catalogues) with the other computer I just get an error message
like "unable to find the requested file".
The same message appears even if I'm not connected to internet and it
stays on the screen after closing GUIDE.
The only way to cancel the message is to shut off the computer or to
press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and then on the PROCESS tab close TEAR2.
Same problem when I try to download SDSS data.
Any idea?
