well, it probably defaulted as being on in the update you originally had, but might not default to no now.
So, go to the menues and
SETTINGS -> Toolbar
Toolbar is at the bottom
scroll down a looooong way, about four fifths, in the list to left, till you start seeing things like such and such "data from vizier" or "data from internet".
The CMC-14 from internet one needs an asterix to the left to be "on", if not, press the ON button, then press okay.
If the cmc-14 option isn't there, something weirds going on or you aren't using a recent update really or something.
If the cmc-14 is there and the asterix is there showing it is switched on, I don't know, isn't there a problem some people have sometimes with toolbar button display? In vista or something. Where the toolbars are there, but you can't see them because of overlap or some such display problem?
