I'm Dietmar Hager, an austrian TMB enthusiast.
I operate my 9" TMB attached to mountegra (a single arm fork mount)
with Boxdörfer's Dynostar - this all serves me quite well.

since a couple years now I drive this system via laptop and Guide 8.0:
I am very content, though I am having some minor issues, which
actually do not affect my imaging intentions at all, but could
probably get solved:

1)
I understand, once guide 8 is connected to the drive-system, it
should display an indicator on the screen that continuously updates
to show where the scope is pointed...?
I replaced the old guide8 data in the folder with the new ones, but -
unfortunatly it does not work.

can someone please help me out?
2)
it is not a problem - just a question on finding things:
is there an optional set of parameters to enter, that allow a very
specific search for objects like: "display galaxies of peculiar size
(let us say larger than 10 arc minutes)" that would help enormously
in my research for objects I'd like to image.

any idea on this subject?
