I posted about this problem before but I haven't received any replies:

I would like to download images from the various deep sky surveys that
Guide is linked to and then with the three overlays create my own
colour images.

Problem? It doesn't work and works only in an incomplete manner. I
have not been able to get a single example in which the three overlays
worked .

Having said this I would like to be able to control the brightness and
contrast of these objects.

I have Starry Night Pro 6+ and have no trouble getting downloads.
Guide is a superior product at a much lower cost, yet I cannot get
"get_dss" to work consistently.
