Hello Alan....
Not speaking for Dave, but he and I do enter our targets the same way, by using the
current daily neatod.dat files from MPCORB and converting that file into two identical
files: one named "neatod.dat" and the on the other "mpcorb.dat"; this allows Guide to
always access the newest data when set to "Use MPCORB" under Extras.

However, he is correct: doing it this way, you cannot pull up lower (i.e, 4-digit, with
a few exceptions) numbered asteroids without actually manually entering the "New Comet"
entry from MPC Ephemeris page. It simply comes back as "Not An Asteroid."
