Guide uses you 'last' display position as its startup position. To get your
desired West position, or anywhere else get Guide to display what you want
to see then create a Mark. Every time Guide is started access this Mark and
off you go. Unfortunately this doesn't address the sky's progression as the
year goes along if that's what you're after...joe :)

You told me to rename guide.exe to : guide8 -oA270,40.exe. ( for example )
Unfortunately this doesn't work or did I something wrong??
