I am trying Guide8 at the scope. I was wondering whta observers use
for star display to make the view as close to what you see through the
finder match the screen. I use a 6 degree circle with a 1 degree
center, which matches my finder and low-power eyepiece.

Obvsiouly magnitude would depend on local conditions, I am thinking
more of matching mag range, min size and max size to make the apparent
Guide view more realistic in terms of what I see in the eyepiece.As of
now I am trying 20-2-20 and adjusting magnitude to fit conditions.
Anyone use Guide in this way?
