Re: [guide-user] Crashes with Jupiter displayed

Hi Richard,

I got your 'startup.mar' file. Unfortunately, I still
don't see any crash, and haven't spotted anything in your
settings that gives me a clue as to what's going on here.
So... a couple of other things to try.

Display of Jupiter is indeed different from display of
the moon, in a few respects. One is that Jupiter has to
be adjusted for the wandering Great Red Spot, and I've
recently made changes to that part of Guide. So that's a
decent candidate to be causing the problem.

If you right-click on Jupiter and ask for 'more info',
it should tell you that the "GRS longitude" is around
longitude 122.9 degrees. If it crashes on 'more info',
that would be a strong clue: it would suggests that
Guide crashes whenever it has to compute the GRS
location. If it shows some weird longitude, that may
also be a clue.

Also: could you try zooming in on some other planets?
If it crashes on those, that would suggest I'm barking
up the wrong tree.

Anyone else seeing this problem?
