Hi Bill,

Thanks for the response. In Msg 6671 I mentioned that I had found the
problem - a 3AU offset left behind from previous activities. So you
are quite right - my viewpoint had been changed and it did in fact
affect every nearby object. I had not noticed it earlier because I
mainly use guide for locating deep space objects and the affect of my
viewpoint change on those was trivial, or at least not visually obvious.
