Anthony,

Give us the RA/DEC of the center of the field and the date and time UT that the image was taken.
Then someone here on the group should be able to backtrack and determine what sat it was.
Magnitude estimate of the satellite and direction of movement or any other info about the image would also be helpful.

Subject: [guide-user] Viewing Earth-Orbiting Satellites

I see a 'Satellites' option on the view data dialog box, but when 'on' I see
no additional info. I am assuming that I need to tell guide where my
satellite file is.

Is this correct? Where does it need to go, where is the option to point to
it in Guide, and in what format does the file need to be?

I have a CCD image with a Sat trail through it and I would like to ID the
Sat.

Thanks,
