Perhaps someone can help me on this problem.

I recently bought the Celestron equatorial goto mount and am trying to get Guide to interface and control pointing of the scope.

The previous owner had used a Dell notebook with The Sky to control the mount and it worked with that.

I have a cable from the serial port going to the plug on the back of the Nexstar hand controller.

Problem is that Guide does not see the telescope regardless of which com port I choose.

I set up the scope, auto align with three star and all is good goto and tracking is good.
Then I plug in the cable from Guide to the hand controller and attempt to set the com port selection.

Nothing is recognized.

Any suggestions?
