Re: [guide-user] Re: Second CCD frame?

Hi Konstantin,

I added the capability in response to an inquiry from
Bernd about the MegaTek camera. This camera has two
guiding chips, at opposite sides of the CCD chip, to
control for field rotation. I must admit that I hadn't
heard of other uses for it until now.

One can add another guider chip, or many guider chips,
as described in the text at the end of 'ccds.nam'. The
basic idea is this: you can specify a guider chip as a
series of six numbers separated by commas. These numbers
describe the size of the chip and its placement relative
to the main chip, and the last two numbers give the height
and width of the chip in pixels. (You can omit this if
you wish.)

You can then add a ';' and another set of six (or four)
comma-separated numbers. And, if you so desired, you
could add yet another ';' and six (or four) comma-separated
numbers.
