Hi folks,
I've just updated the version at
http://www.projectpluto.com/new.htm
In theory, all I'm doing is bug cleanup right now, and that's
_almost_ the case. However, this update has a few improvements
relative to the previous one:
-- Entering a date/time is more flexible; if a human can
understand the input, Guide probably will, too.
-- Eclipse display is a bit better: the track is marked with
indicators of the time of maximum eclipse, including time labels.
-- There's a new 'asteroid options' entry in the Extras menu. This
includes assorted controls over asteroid display, which allowed
me to remove a few entries from the Extras menu and makes the
organization somewhat more logical. (The menu structure in Guide
needs some rethinking. Many things just aren't in any place that
you might expect. I consider this to be a first step.)
-- You can move the CCD frame with a Ctrl-right-click, and rotate
it with a Shift-right-click. This is a leadup to being able to
click on the CCD frame and drag it around.
Comments are welcome. I think we're close to having this become
an 'official' version.
