RE: [guide-user] GUIDE8 folder

JS & EJ Gifford Mar 28, 2008

Its ultra convenient. In this country, Australia, locations can be tens
of degrees apart, so I create and save a separate mark for each. Comets
etc update in the usual way. I have a few weeks traveling in Europe
coming up and can keep up to date this way without having to cart a
laptop around and without leaving copies of your software everywhere I
go. Much appreciated.

Regards, Jim.

Hi Jim,

"...I keep a copy of the Guide 8 folder on a 2 gig USB flash
drive which I can run on any computer when I am traveling, no
other installation needed."

I'd not thought about this, but you've a point there. Perhaps
I should tout this as a feature of the software! (Or, if flash
memory gets cheap enough, start selling Guide on flash drives...)
