I'm using the latest beta update to Guide 8 (March 12, 2008 version).
All was well until I tried to update the comets using the add MPC
comets/asteroids function. Guide crashed the first time I clicked
on a comet after adding comets. The file comets.dat was corrupted.
A few lines were wrapped oddly and this was causing the crash.
I edited out the offending lines and all is well now. This has happened
before with Guide, although I thought this problem was corrected.
