Hi Owen,

At one time, I _was_ planning on having UCAC-3 be a major
new part of Guide 9.0. I'm no longer holding my breath for UCAC-3
(though I'll be delighted when it becomes available, of course).
I will continue to mumble about when Guide 9.0 will be done,
though. I made some confident "just around the corner" noises
a while back, and then found some more corners to go around.

I'll probably handle UCAC-3 by providing some means whereby
people can get the data (probably USNO will distribute it on
DVDs), copy it to their hard drives, then display it in place
of GSC. That'll just require me to post an update on my Web
site.
