I do since Bill implemented the use of ASCOM.

This are the problems I know using Guide8 with ASCOM.
Ending Guide8 does not end the driver task. I always have to kill the task
manually with task manager. And there is another problem in Guide8 with
right mouse click context info if ASCOM driver is loaded. Guide8 hangs on
the choosen object.

But there is no problem to control the scope. After startup I first do an
alignment on star(s). As far as I know after the alignment there is no sync
possible in Guide8. But I am not sure if I had understoood right. Can you
describe the action or the problem in detail?
