Um. I see your point...
Unfortunately, no, Guide doesn't provide a way
to reset the precision (for this or most other figures
in 'Make Ephemeris'). In fact, I think I'll have to
suggest use of other software for this task. Specifically,
JPL's on-line ephemeris system, _Horizons_:

You will need to tell it that you want to generate an
ephemeris with the "observer location" being (probably)
geocentric, the "target body" being the moon, and so on.
Under "Table Settings", make sure that the Sun-Observer-Target
(also known as elongation) check-box is set.
Horizons will default to giving the elongation to
.0001 degree precision.
(Users of Horizons will note that it has a _lot_ of
nifty little features for ephemeris generation, some of
which I've already stolen... I mean, used as inspiration
in Guide.)
