Hi All,

Having used Guide 7 for Windows awhile now with my BBox (either with Mel's
Scope software on my 16", or directly with a pentium Laptop & my 8" Dob), it
was surprise to me when the "JMI-MG III" radio-button selection did not show
when I decided to put Guide DOS, along with my BBox, on my recently acquired
"field 386 Laptop" (I'd done all those file transfers to not require the
CD). This is for use with a recently acquired 4" f/10 refractor on a GEM
(using 4000 step encoders, RA mounted to read Hour Angle/the motion of the
clock drive). Can anyone tell me how one uses (& sets) encoders (for a GEM)
in Guide 7 DOS, if you don't have that selection in telescope setup in the
Guide 7 Dos Version? Any help greatly appreciated!!
