Hi Bill,

Sadly updating with the latest version of Guide8 didn't cure the
problem. I guess I could start from scratch ... remove and reinstall
from the CD ... but I have a feeling I have some problem with Win XP,
rather than Guide8, probably a dll corruption somewhere, as some other
programs aren't behaving exactly as they should.

Will keep working on the problem.
