At present, the only way to do it is via 'guide.dat'.

You are, of course, correct in thinking that there Ought
To Be a Better Way. Specifically, I think it ought to be
handled like a user-added dataset: you should be able to
go to Extras... Toggle User-Added Datasets, find the A2.0
data, and turn it on or off or adjust the fields of view
at which it is shown. There are some odd things to be fixed
there. It may have to wait a bit, since I've had a few
bugs come up that I want to squash before adding anything
new.
