I think I've found the cause of the lack of NGC-IC comments. You
should download this file into your Guide directory:

http://www.projectpluto.com/ecanned2.dat (about 4 KBytes)

Properly speaking, this new file ought to have been part of the
update on the Web site. I'd modified the batch file that creates the
update files so that it would include ecanned2.dat, but, as it turns
out, it was looking in the wrong directory.

The omission of this file would prevent you from getting NGC-IC
comments in 'more info'. (In the future, of course, it _will_ be
part of the update file.)
