Out of the blue I find I'm not able to load/run Guide8 on my Win XP
system. When I try to start Guide8 it produces the error
message "Guide8 MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to
close..." Looking at the 'details' it appears the problem is
related/involves ntdll.dll. I can't be certain but I think this problem
may have started after I tried doing an ASCOM scope link (which has
worked fine in the past). I am using the latest version.

Any ideas how to fix?
