Fritz,
Your problem may be that your margins are not set properly.
Go to Settings, Margins menu. One inch for each should be OK.
Go to Display, Ticks, Grids, etc. Set Hatches and Side labels
(each the same) appropriate for the Settings, Level, chart size
and declination.
