I have been using Guide since about Ver 4 or 5. Love it. But in
Guide 8 printing has always been a problem.

Problems:
Sometimes a print out takes several minutes. Sometimes the print out
just shows the lower left corner, hugely magnified, with one inch high
text. Sometimes print fails completely with some error.
Currently I am experiencing the second case, lower left corner hugely
magnified. This currently is happening on two different
computers/installations.
If I do a print preview, the correct output appears for about a second
and then is replaced with the hugely magnifed lower left corner, where
I have the caption.

Guide 8:
Initial Disk 1: Guide8.exe = 821 kb on 1-6-2002
Latest Update from web site: Guide8.exe = 922 kb on 5-5-2007
running from HD

Other Programs:
I think the problem is with Guide because all my other graphics
programs print fine: Adobe Acrobat 8, Irfan view 4.0, Picture
Window Pro 4.0, Image Plus 2.82, DeskTop Universe V1.5, Planetarium
Gold 3.0, etc.

Printer:
HP Laserjet 6P (mid 90's vintage), latest HP driver package
lj631en.exe dated 6-26-2004, (Unfortunately, the printer is networked,
but I don't think that is contributing to the problem, The network is
full HP issue, JetDirect 170X & HP software.)

Computer:
Thinkpad T60 (built 2006), freshly reloaded from bare metal with WinXP
sp2 and all Lenovo drivers and Lenovo issued Win updates as of Nov 2007.

or

Thinkpad T21 (built 2000) runing WinXP sp2 current to maybe 6 months
ago on drivers and updates.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping I just need to
update some Guide file.
