I've added the line John describes to 'galnovae.dat' (modified to include
references to IAUCs 8895 and 8896, plus the new designation V597 Pup for this
object). You can now just download this file:

http://www.projectpluto.com/galnovae.dat

and be completely up to date for all galactic novae, including this one.

Lots of traffic today, I see... hope to catch up soon.
