I seem to be having a problem, probably user induced, with the MPC
report file that Charon generates. I have Guide8 and Charon installed
on a Dell desktop running Window XP Home with all the latest service
packs. When Chaorn generates the report file there is no extension and
Windows always asks which program should open it. As I measure objects
throughout an observing session I periodically open the file in the
Guide8 folder to make sure there is a blank line between objects and
this is when I get the prompt. In order to have the correct file to
send in I have to "Save As..." and manually add the '.txt' extension.

Any help in correcting this would be most welcomed!
