I've just found that mark files I created some time ago all show
altitudes as 328 ft. If this bug affects the calculation of
eclipses, I've got an awful lot of work to redo!
Hi Bill,
Don't know if this is my bug or Guide's, but every location on Earth,
from Miami, Florida to Quito, Ecuador now has an altitude of 801
ft. It doesn't matter what number I enter, or if in feet or meters,
it still shows 801 ft. I entered a location in Ireland with an
altitude of 244 meters, and it was converted to 801 ft. Apparently,
Guide stuck there.
I'm using the 6 June version. This may be affecting my eclipse work,
depending on whether this value is used in the actual calculations,
or is only showing in the location window. If my copy has taken a
hit I'll re-install, but I'd rather not. I can't do anything now
until I find out what the problem is.
