Thanks Bill,

The duplicated elements are the outlines and names of objects, not
the projected stars etc.

Among the double labels that appear at higher levels are Messiers of
all types, NGC's, IC's etc., doesn't seem to matter which.

Right clicking each of the two displays produces the same Display
data, and clicking one off produces an 'off' indication in both cases,
though the two remain visible.
