As Denis suggested, this is probably the issue encountered when the MPC changed
the MPCORB format. For details, plus the updatet that fixes the problem:

The only Vista-related issue of which I'm aware involves installing Guide.
Basically, Vista flat-out refuses to run the 'setup' program from the CD-ROM.
