Hi Bertrand,
I see what you mean; most TDF lines are under 1000 bytes, so
you don't normally see this happen. But it can be done. See
'ecanned2.dat' for an example, in the PGC-99 catalogue section:
~r1279 10 Distance: %s mega^parsec^s
~r1289 10 (%s million ^light-year^s)\n
~r1299 10 ^Galactic luminosity^: %s billion suns
~r1309 10 (%s times Milky Way)\n
