OK - I surrender! I have just made a direct copy of every directory from the
original to the new version (on the Vista OS drive) and all is now working well!

My thanks to Roger for this simple suggestion. Of course the problem now is
that some directories contain no longer valid information - such as the new
drive with A2 on it. Could now do with a simplified method of changing this!

The obvious remaining 'problem' is the top line icon display. Is your normal,
Roger? Mine is double-spaced.
