Hi Masaki,

You mentioned that "... Guide display occultation
event with CMC-14 star, not with 2UCAC star." (This
for the 18 March 2007 event, when Pluto occulted
2UCAC 25823784 as seen from some of the United States.)

John Greaves pointed out, via private e-mail, that
this was probably due to the fact that UCAC2 provides
proper motion data. But those proper motions are sometimes
not very good. In this case, if I disable the proper
motions for UCAC2, Guide shows the occultation, and in
the right part of the world. And CMC-14 shows almost
exactly the same place as UCAC2 when proper motions are
disabled.

_Usually_, I think you can trust the UCAC2 proper
motion data... but in this case, it looks as if it's wrong.
