oh, I see, well, I'm messing about a bit here, but it looks like the
cmc14 url is parsed to tear2.exe from within Guide.exe

BUT

it _looks_ like Guide.exe expects tear2 to be in the utils
subdirectory, whereas normal update will just decompress it from
Guide8.zip into the Guide directory.

Go to your Guide directory, and make a _copy_ of tear2.exe into the
utils subdirectory that's in the Guide directory and try again...

...you never know! ;)
