well, it's not in vizier as of this writing, but it'll be in there
once they've turned it on, for note they already give a link to it.
Frankly this is weird, when they plugged data release 4 into vizier
they officially obsoleted the data release 3 setup, flagging it as
such, so does that mean they're going to obsolete data release 4
already? Might as well, release 5 totally supercedes it.
Bill, FYI, data release 5 is _it_. That's the end of the SDSS data
run, or more technically, SDSS I, as an SDSS II was started afterward,
but that's kind of a separate thing mostly looking at different bits
of sky, and it's doubtful anything in II will supplant stuff in I.
So, SDSS data release 5 is it, the final release, and now linked via
vizier, a quarter of the sky, plus photometry, from about 14th to 24th
(21st is safer) mag.
With CMC14 at VizieR, SDSS data release 5 there now, them two are
worth download buttons, as they're very hard to get any other way ;)
Fullness of time, of course, and all that.
Cheers
John
