My error!!! The file is called iii.idx, not gcvs.idx!

That's why you couldn't find it ;)

My fault.

Try it again with deleting iii.idx, probably just deleting iii.idx now
and re-running Guide as is, if you've already reupgraded and added the
fiddled with iii.dat, should suffice.

Again, don't hold your breath.

This is assuming you've got a iii.idx. After you've deleted iii.idx
and relaunched Guide, it might be interesting to see if it makes a new
iii.idx or not, as iii.idx does not appear to be part of the upgrade
zip, so must be autogenerated.

I know that asteroid problem, which still exists at base even though
there's an mpcorb work around, is because Guide doesn't regenerate the
index file at new epochs for some reason.

[Incidentally, I'm running basic Win2k, except IE etc are uninstalled
(though still there at core due to gatesian megalomania)]
