There's an easy answer to that one, Roger ol' lad, it's called V435
Vul not being in Namelist 78...
;)
It were in namelist 77.
So either the GCVS TDF with a iii.dat download or the new update test
of Guide with a iii.dat download would be needed. Or using a slightly
older iii.dat with the namelist 77 stuff in and a separate namelist
78, or multitudinous variations on the single theme.
I haven't downloaded a new iii.dat in a while, mostly coz the concept
of renaming variables into other constellations is anathema to all
traditions of bibliographic priority, and a violation of IAU
nomneclatural rules to boot (even though the IAU gave permission for
these renamings to happen).
Are you sure you've got your new iii.dat in the Guide directory and
not the old one still there? Stuff like that.
Other than that, I'm a bit intrigued why anybody's bothered with a
semiregular, is it V435 Vul you really mean, although that of course
does not negate the non GOTO point.
Is the line in iii.dat for this star complete, or as complete as it
could be?
Can you GO TO V453 Vul, which is in namelist 78, which'd be a clue,
coz the Vulpecula stuff is at the very end of iii.dat and V450+ at the
very endmost, iii.dat is in constellation order followed by variable
order, and Guide might be suffering from stopping at object number
40,000 or something sideways like that, you see: ie is it just stuff
at the end of iii.dat that's not working?
Cheers
