Hi Dave,

Since you mention that there were problems with either comets _or_
asteroids shown, I'll hazard a guess that the dataset of comet orbital
elements got corrupted somewhere along the line. Had I caught you
before re-installing, I'd have suggested sending me your current
'comets.dat' file so I could perhaps replicate the problem... oh, well!

Using 'neatod.dat' in place of 'mpcorb.dat' is just fine. Of
course, do that, and the only asteroids you'll see are the NEAs.
However, since the program will be showing a few thousand asteroids
instead of about 135 000, it'll run without the sort of slowdown I
mentioned in my previous e-mail.
