that's indeed very strange.

we can notice that this faint nebula shows up like a curved band.

the radius of curvature makes me think of a diffraction artifact or
internal reflection on the tube. the band orientation is consistent
with an artifact caused by mirach (polar angle of mirach is 310°
while I measured something like 308° on your image)
I haven't estimated the real radius of curvature but I suspect it
could be the same as the distance from mirach
a way to verify this could be to image a part of the sky which is at
the same distance as mirach as NGC507
