I came to this decision because I couldn't find one bit of
information in any images including the DSS images which I downloaded
that showed anything like this. My images are unfiltered dark sub.
and flat fielded. Like I said I would the link will show the first
of three different images I took on three different nights. I tried
all the tricks in the book to try and figure out what caused this
including looking for objects that would cause a reflection and
duplicating the area in different parts of the sky. The image is
left full size of over 2100 pix wide. Median combine of 22x60 second
images bin 1x1. This has been increased by levels to better show the
very faint area which sits in the Abell 426 area of NGC507. My first
thought of reflection was discounted at first because of the broken
appearence of the upper 1/2 of the faint bow area. This whole area
was not seen or noticed untill I inverted the images looking for
faint fuzzies. I do not think this is real but do not know why it is
there or what is causing it.
