Changing grid colour irreversibly changes line style and line width

Thomas Pfleger Sep 6, 2006

Hi,

After changing the colour of the grid from the default to something
other, the grid lines sudddenly were very bold and appeared in a dash-
dot-fashion. Trying to restore the old state was not successful: no
problem getting the former colour, but the line was not as fine as it
originally was. The bold dash-dot style remained.

I could helf myself by editing the STARTUP.MAR file. After replacing
the lines beginning with "25" with the content from FACTORY.MAR and a
restart it was as it should be.

I rate this issue as a bug and would ask Bill to fix it occasionally.

Another topic: is there any possibility to make GUIDE re-read (and
consider) the STARTUP.MAR at runtime? I'd like to trigger this
behaviour from an own application (setting the map's new center
coordinates in STARTUP.MAR and then issuing, say, a registered
Windows Message).

Greetings,
Tom
