Re: Comet 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann

comet 73P doesn't exist anymore. so its elements are not true
anymore. the ones you found could be the ones of 1995, when the
comet broke.

in 1995, several fragments (A to ?) had been observed, C was the
main component.
in 2001, only three components were found again, B, C, and E

in 2006, thirteen components have been found. E was not recovered.
elements for E could be the ones for 2001 or the ones assumed for
2006, but this fragment has vanished (or its linking between one of
the recovered fragments hasn't been made)

in conclusion, 73P doesn't exist anymore, but it can be identified
with the main fragment, C. elements of 73P should be the ones of
73P_C.

E has vanished, so you don't have to spend time trying to figure out
its current magnitude or its elements.

the elements you found with B,C and E are likely the ones that were
assumed for the 2006 return with the calculations made with 2001
datas. they are not useful anymore.

sincerely
