Historical Chinese names followup

Hi all,

I just found this item on Project Pluto. I had remembered the first
sentence, but forgot the second. I had d/l and installed ecu.tdf, but
assumed it was still not being used. Bad assumption, as most assumptions are!

" (30 August 2002) _.TDF file to show two million world cities/towns:_ The
second CD-ROM for Guide 8 contains data about the location of roughly two
million places in the world, but no way to make any use of the data.
However, it is now possible to display them on eclipse/occultation maps.

"To do so, download this file (about 6 KBytes) and unZIP it in your Guide
directory. When in eclipse/occultation mode, the cities/towns will be shown
when you zoom in to a six-degree or smaller field of view."

Bill, if a reference is given to an historical eclipse observed at
"Chang-te" and you have no idea where it is, it would be nice to enter it
and find it is an old name for Anyang, China. If it would not entail much
work, this would be very helpful to archaeo-astronomers!
