No, it's 60' both for DSSI and DSSII, but FITS images of 60'x60' are
many, many megabytes to download (especially for DSSII) and takes a
long time to download from the slow originating server.

I also long for a solution to all the problem issues with DSS images.
DSS images are a wonderful tool, but it has it's limitations that has
to be taken into account.
